Shipping Policy
Our standard shipping option is UPS Ground calculated at checkout, based on purchase amount, with Free Shipping on all orders $150+.
When you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email as well as a confirmation that your order has shipped. All orders are packaged and shipped directly from one of our two stores on the coast of Maine (our locations).
* We ship to the continental US and now have special shipping options for Alaska & Hawaii.
Shipping Times
Most orders placed before 3pm EST will ship on the same business day and all orders will, with few exceptions, ship on the following business day.
With standard UPS Ground shipping your order should arrive between 2-6 business days after placing an order depending on the ship-to address.
Expedited Shipping to 48 Contiguous States
Orders with UPS 2-Day Express must be placed by 3pm EST to have them ship that same day. Orders placed after 3pm will ship the following day. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will ship on Monday. Contact us with any questions or for special instructions: 207.646.9280.
International Orders
International orders are shipped same as domestic orders and most orders are received in 7-14 days from the time they are placed. Delays are most often caused by your countries import/ customs/ duty/ post office(s), and are out of our control. We will investigate missing international orders after 30 calendar days of the ship date.
Packages delivered outside the USA may incur customs or import taxes. We have no control over whether your country will charge customs or import taxes when the package reaches your country. We write on customs forms what is inside each package as well as the cost of your order. The person who receives the order is responsible for paying all costs associated with moving their package through their customs or import tax system, and we cannot make refunds to customers who do not receive shipments because they have declined to pay these costs. We recommend that you contact your local customs or import office for further information on what these charges may be.
For exceptionally heavy or large international orders, we will notify you in advance that shipping might cost more and allow you the opportunity to accept or cancel.
International shipping charges DO NOT include any import fees, duties, or VAT charges that may be required by your country. It is the ordering party’s sole responsibility to check with the ordering country’s customs/ import office, or proper government agency to see if any fees may apply to your order.
